This is a nice piece of short fiction, well written and evocative of a kid and his bike and risking all. It brings back so many memories of when I had my first bike!

I agree with your authors notes about youth. Kudos to you for writing a complete story in just 75 words. Good luck in the contest. The only recommendation I can make is maybe add your word count to your author's notes.

I enjoyed your story. I remember when I was a kid and my sister used to ride on the front of the handles. Nice story. Very descriptive. Good luck in the contest.

Hmm, this is written and edited fine. I'm not sure I see any flash ending. I suppose the author is going for the overall emotion of being a young person and creating something, they could enjoy.
