I'll never compare human beings to species. They might be taught the same lessons of life, but their appearance is way different. We must love them because they are a creation off God's.

You did a great job with this prompt. I love everything about it. The syllable count is perfect, as well as the artwork you choose. What I liked best was the message. We as parents do the same thing. A necessity. Birds, unlike us, have no feelings of loss. Best wishes.

    Thank you. As an empty-nester-in-progress, I sometimes wish I could be as aloof about it as the robins in my yard are each year.

This is excellent poem and presentation! It has good descriptive words and imagery. This was fun to read. Thank you for sharing this. I enjoyed reviewing it. For the contest, though, it does need two more stanzas.
