Beautiful imagery through your words. Descriptions of the changing sky take us through the weather with you. You reminded me of such afternoon down showers to do no thunder and no light ung yet, the constant tap of rain in gutters and rooftops, keeps the beat of the day. Good writing. :))

A skilfully detailed and evocative story about rain in a lovely flowing free verse with alliteration (always a pleasure) and great imagery of the senses (smell, sight, sound). I particularly enjoyed the last line, illustrated so well in the picture. Well done, Debbie

I adored the myriad of descriptions of rain. The rhythmic pitter-patter. Your poem was full to the brim with aliteration and onomatopoeia. Brilliant stuff. A joy to read

I just love the sound of rain, particularly on a tin roof, unfortunately we have a tiled roof, so no luck, this is beautifully written my friend Alicia, happy resurrection day, beautifully written, blessings Roy

These wet dreary days can sometimes bring a fine melody as we confine ourselves to the indoors and watch the rainfall in our cosy homes, I heard and felt the rain here Alicia, haven't seen a drop for months, this was quite refreshing, love Dolly x x x

It's been raining pleny in California. It was cloudy yesterday but no rain. I hope you get some rain soon.

Love your melodic description of the rain! You made us feel, hear, and smell the rain in this poem. My favorite line was: "Unbridled rain holds no shape."
One spelling comment as I don't think you meant something being lighter:
No thunder, No lightening (lightning)
