Good point, my friend, I haven't been here in a while yet when I came back to FS I found you next to the top of the Welcome page!
I can't tell if you are leaving us here on FS but I hope that this isn't the case! I don't consider you foolhardy as you write in this brief poem, so let us get together once again!
The image is great and you say you found it on Google, it suits the poem well!
Senyai, I don't know you well, but for all I can tell, you may have a hidden talent in your bones! You are an accomplished poet ranked just # 30 on this listing, I hope you are planning to stay!
Have a wonderful day,
Jesse

Hi Jesse,
Thank you so much for your sweet review and words. No, I am staying on FanStory, it is Gert that might be taking a break from FS for a while. Her husband just got home from the hospital and she needs to care for him right now. But a little bird told me she will check in and review from time to time.
Thanks, Jesse, for your concern but I?m fine and am wishing you a wonderful Sunday and coming week :))
All the best,
Senyai

I like how you used these alliterative "F" words, two which included "fool" in your one line poem! Ironically, it's "foolhardy" to think one is never foolhardy and so to make that be the basis of the failsafe plan. A wise man always expect some amount of failure. Best wishes in the contest!

Hi Helen,
I love your review and yes, you are spot on! Only a presumptuous fool would think his plans would be completely error free.
What is that saying ? " expect the best but plan for the worst"? or something like that :))
Thank you for your time to read and assess my short one line poem.
Have a wonderful Sunday
Always,
Senyai

Well, as one line poems go, there really aren't many to give this one any competition, methinks... It is witty and well written, as well as cleverly presented. Best of luck in the contest.

Hi Dawn,
Thank you so much for a lovely review and warm thoughts. I truly appreciate your time to read assess. These one liners are so short there is not much there to assess LOL!
Have a wonderful Sunday :))

No problem!
Comment from Gloria ....
Very nicely written. Of course a few risks won't be of any concern should the failsafe prove to be safe.
The three Fs is a perfect title too for this in that it alludes to those perhaps less than perfect grades.
Innovative, unique, and totally relatable.
Great luck to you with the Committee. :))

I admire your use of the letter "F". Your one line poem has a smooth flow to it and you also give good advice here. You did well creating a one line poem which is not easy to do.

One line that says it all, except what your fail safe is, and how is it foolhardy?? LOL. I love this, it's clever and the alliteration is brilliant. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Lynn,
This is a wonderful one line poem
with excellent word play and use of alliteration.
Perhaps it is foolhardy.
It's difficult to say much poetically in a single
but you've done very well.
I like the choice of art work too.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes.
Robert

when the moon sits just so in the sky. That must have been when you wrote this cute post. How many times has my wife asked me to not act like a fool? I cannot tally. Nice job...John

A very clever one line entry - filled with alliteration and provoking thought as to whether anything can ever be fool-proof - or fail-safe, despite all the precautions we can make. Good wishes for your entry.

Hi Wendy,
Good to hear from you! Yes, I agree wholeheartedly LOL. Only a presumptuous fool would think his best laid plans could ever be completely error free.
Someone wrote about the terrible event in the 1940?s with two young physicists tinkering with a "demon core" of plutonium at Los Alamos and slipped with a screwdriver and somehow dislodged it causing a burst of radiation to escape its confines and killed them both in two separate accidents before it was dismantled. Tragic loss if life! When I hear the word failsafe I think of this very accident? or the unsinkable Titanic?sinking :((
Thanks for such a stellar review!
All the best,
Senyai
