Dealing With Charles
by DragonSkulls
80 Word Flash Fiction Contest Winner
I'm a secretary in Sales. I was running some paperwork
to Charles, in his cubicle. I thought he was asleep in the
chair but it turned out old Charles was dead.
When I told my boss he said, "Great. Do you know how much
paperwork there is to fill out when someone dies in your
department?" Translated...how much paperwork I would be doing.
Giving it thought, I devised a plan.
Then, at lunch, I quietly dragged Charles over to Accounting.
