you made the match, to melt my solitude
you lit the spark, to my fading fortitude

you brought the flame that fuelled my fire
still burning now to starve the cold
I felt it's freedom like melting ice
engulfing me with life's new breath
~~
you found me when my life was still
you helped me top my tallest hill
