The Meaning

I climbed for weeks, fighting harsh weather conditions and severe
terrain, but I finally reached the top of the mountain and found the
mighty, all knowing Guru. The old, bearded man stopped meditating,
looked, then queried, "What is your question, child?"

I asked, "What is the meaning of life? What is it all about?"

His answer startled me. "You've known this all your life, yet
still you've made this profound journey."

"Please...tell me."

"It's the Hokey Pokey, that's what it's all about."

I gazed at him in utter disbelief.

"And now that you know...you can turn yourself around."
