April fool

The date's the first of April here,
I'm in the Southern hemisphere.
Compared to North one day ahead
March Thirty First for them instead.

But on this day I have to say
Now to my son;
"Happy Birthday"
Yes on the first one early morn
We welcomed you when you were born.

We've watched you grow from boy to man,
How very proud of you I am.
But still at times, can catch you out
Like "there's a spider" I did shout

You jumped up off the couch real quick
We laughed real loud, it was a trick.
But I do think you're really cool
And glad you are my 'April Fool'.

Today it is April First here in Australia and because we are in the Southern Hemisphere we are a day earlier than our friends in the Northern Hemisphere. However today 1st April is my sons 34th Birthday and I write for him this birthday poem

Also as it is April Fools day I managed to get him a beauty re a spider near him on the couch and he jumped up so quick while we all laughed very loud as I called him a big April fool, But seriously he is a great bloke and a terrific son and I am very glad he is my April Fool.

Also as I have entered the April NaPoWrMo contest here on FanStory (created by Sandra )for 2018 I thought I would start with this one today.
