over the tree tops
love tickles the nose
of the smiling giraffe
spindly legs see no reason
to rest when walking on air
with flair, I walked the forest
yes, aware that ne'er a creature
moved with grace so grand
the land was mine
and each day was the next day
so, the story went
and one was like the other
and like the ones I'd spent
I'd always waken bright to find
another had been sent
and to this day it's so

that nothing's changed or
rearranged my world
