No Father Needed
No Father Needed
I never knew my father, so
I just don’t know
a steady hand
I grew unplanned
yet nothing's lost inside of me
that I can see
there is no hole
within my soul
my mother too, she missed my youth
and here's the truth--
I raised myself
this Irish elf
