senryu writing prompt entry

Writing Prompt write one senryu about: you! ------------- a senryu is a short, to the point "quip" a clever, witty, sharp, sarcastic remark or comment - irony and/or satire about human conditions with dry wit and/or a play on words is required ~ 17 syllables or less ~ 1-4 grammatically-interconnected lines ~ very minimal punctuation (if you don't need it, don't use it) *NO.... ....end rhyme at all ....gerunds (a verb functioning as a noun with an -ing ending) ....pictures/artwork/music/readings/etc. ....author's notes ....pictures/artwork/music/readings/sound effects/etc. *senryu do not have titles, but for this contest.... ....for a 2-4 line senryu, the title must be: first line of poem ....for a one line senryu, the title must be: first 1-2 words *see details in announcement for some examples of senryu |
