A pyrotechnician makes a bold statement
A Pyrotechnician
by Gunner Lil
There was nearly a riot at the Fireworks Display on the Fourth of July.
Steven Levine, a pyrotechnician , stood up, faced the crowd and shouted
into a microphone, "I am straight . . . I'm proud of it!"
The crowd rushed at him yelling, "Homophobic . . . Homophobic!"
The police quickly whisked Mr. Levine away just as the first rocket flew skyward.
