Butterfly Butter

have you ever tried
to milk a butterfly? rope 'em hold 'em hope they don't kick (uhm, fly) find their tiny teats with a microscopic eye surgical tweezers will work real nice five butterflies one drop in the bucket (a vial will do) add a grain of salt churn it nice and slow. butter on your toast? I don't think so. |

Writing Prompt Write a poem using the topic: butterfly. Your poem can be in any style. You can write about an actual butterfly or compare someone to a butterfly. Or you may come up with a way to use butterfly as your theme in a way no one has thought of before. Any length, any format. Artwork, notes and whatever you wish to use in your display is fine. That's it. Simple, one rule: a poem that incorporates, "Butterfly" somehow. |
