The wildflower fields beckoned Jimmy and his sister, Hope. Balmy breezes set the fields in motion, undulating like a softly swaying flying carpet. A cornucopia of colorful butterflies flitted in delicate dance above the kaleidoscopic landscape.
“C'mon, twerp!” Jimmy chided playfully.
They ran...
“General Tran...there's no response, sir."
“ Hoa Ký. I'd hoped to acquire some useful information from this G.I..."
Sighing, the commander wearily hung his head...
POW corporal Jimmy Bailey was a captive of the People's Army of Vietnam no longer. Joining his baby sister, their laughter echoed as they darted, hand-in-hand, across the fields of forever.
