I lost so much the last few years,
my health and much more.
Each operation set me back,
why I am not sure.
One complication is I lost my voice,
while talking used to be my profession,
and the only thing I am good at.

Hubby wears hearing aids now
for my sake, sweet but sad.
My daughter in law who was over,
is deaf and did not hear much at all.
Chest infections on the run
keep me busy:)

I could say a lot more
but that will not help.
I lost my capacity for rhyme
and meter.
I will buy that back for many a dime.
My brain is shattered like in the art.
