This work has reached the exceptional level
Her fulgent light cannot be matched

One Million Candles (Maureen)

Though a million candles are lit for you
to represent a hope of a warrior’s win
and honor the woman whom inspires all
 to find our worth from deep within
 
The voltage from our million flames
could not compete with the light you give
For you, dear friend, command each heart
to grasp each day in the lives we live
 
The words you mold are resplendent grace
infused with lucent gems of wisdom’s fire
So polished with your gleaming spirit;
the brightest stars of Heaven could retire
 
And on this eve…

When heavy clouds obscure the moon
and storms threaten to disquiet our light;
 know the voltage from the glow you give
restores our faith and hope

 in our Celtic Warrior’s might
