Harry's So Worthwhile
by Peter@Poole
The world has changed since Harry came,
Our long awaited great-grandson; His parents' lives are not the same; Old patterns had to be undone. But they've shown love and willingness To serve the needs of one so young, And made a home without the stress That comes to blight the lives of some. Their baby boy is full of fun And studies our reactions to His antics, which, if once begun will just go on until he's through. We see him in the photo here Awaiting feedback from the crowd Of relatives, who laugh and cheer, Which makes his parents mighty proud. |

Having been charmed by the poems of several grandmothers on this site, I felt encouraged to post one of our first great-grandson, Harry, whom Jinny enjoyed for a while before she was promoted to Glory. I've also embedded an Ivor Novello award winning song about another Harry, sung by one of my favourite singers, Catherine Howe.
