Jealously

I love to sit and watch the big blue ocean,
the tides ebb and flo, brings such emotion.
Oh you ocean so wide, in you I'll confide,
nobody wants to listen, I do have my pride.

Will he return, please can you tell me?
I love him with a passion, don't you see.
He saw me talking to an old boyfriend,
jealously gripped him, he said we must end.

He wants to possess me and feel I'm just his,
but I believe that's not what a relationship is.
What can I do I miss his tender kisses?
and he also wants me to be his missus.

Will I regret it if this man becomes mine?
he may not allow me to have any time
with my other friends, of many years
this could all end with me drowning in tears.
