BiPolar Battles
Slippery
by Dklrdmcches
Hurting, confused and betrayed, another day has begun.
Unsure on what level I will be functioning, The swirling beasts of rancid pressure pry the life Out of the shell of my inner being. Slipping away from society, I ponder the noise of sanity. Careful to tip-toe on the brink of the living, The cascade of shell-shocked onlookers turn a blind eye. Off to a great start, the mounting breath escapes the despair. You see, the lights of one side dim the brightness of the other, It is a constant battle to climb the mountain of hope and pray. The blackness of the purified light has cast a shadow for all to witness. As the day shortens, the longer the pain endures. Kneeling before the alter of broken dreams, Another sector of souls opens the airways to question reality. Whispers of agents past beckons the mind to clarify the cloud. Slippery eels cast away the demons of the 4th degree. |
