A snow blizzard...
A chapter in the book CSP: A Collection of Poems
Morning Glory
by Sixteezkid
See Author's Notes below
Our winter's storm blew in last night As snow fell down without a break And wind that howled ~ a blizzard born Awaking to a scene, so white A blanket quilted, flake by flake And all was hushed ~ a peaceful morn The drifts are risen to such height Like sculptures carved ~ an artist's take On marble; sanded, smooth and worn The landscape sparkles ~ blinding bright All decorated like a cake With icing swirled and made adorn A wonderland for grownups' eyes A playground ~ joyous children's cries! |
