My daughter has autism. I wanted to simplify, in words, this most complex disorder.
If anyone is interested in this lovely art form:
The TETRACTYS, a poetic form invented by Ray Stebbing, is a five-line syllabic verse form. Each verse should express a complete thought in 20 syllables, with line counts: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10.

The accompanying artwork is a symbolic painting I did to express this "enigma".
In the last line (which is supposed to have 10 syllables), I have chosen for the word "different" to have the more common pronunciation of "dif-frent".
My first attempt at a tetractys....a new-found expression for me.
