Come to Me

Return

by John Cranford

There is a place where you can go
When things go wrong, and you don't know
How to escape the sinful net
That's made with tears, sewn with regret.

The things you've done, you can't undo,
There's still a way, a path for you.
Turn back and listen for His voice.
He whispers, "Let Me be your choice."

He says, "The sinful things you've tried,
I took them from you when I died.
My Father sent Me to forgive.
I gave my life so you may live."

"Return to Me my wayward child.
My arms will shelter you a while;
All bundled close against my chest,
Warm...forgiven...forever blessed."
