I totally believe in God
I Trust My Faith
by Daniel Milton Taylor
The word Trust is used in the definition of the word Faith. The word Faith is defined, in part, as Trust in God. So, I can Define my life by saying I totally trust my faith in God.
I wouldn't have said that about my life before the age of 31 because I didn't believe in God. Going to church as a child was a non-negotionable event my mother upheld. I actually liked church because of the fun we had. However, I was a very quiet and extremely curious child, so I had to search out any major story, like God, for myself. My search didn't prove His reality to me, so as a teenager, I took the stand that God was another myth like Zeus and that's how I lived.
In my 31st year of life I heard some Bible teaching about the Name of Jesus that I had to honestly say I hadn't heard and thus, hadn't tried. It put a totally new challenge to my "atheist proof" that God wasn't real. So, I secretly prayed to the supposedly "all knowing" God, "God, if you exist, show me in a way that I'll believe. In Jesus Name. Amen". Since 300 words is way too short to tell my story I'll just say that God did exactly what I prayed for. He's so good, I have to testify!!
My mother lived to see her prayers answered about her baby boy!!
I fell 20' landing on my back, but I'm still here!!
While in the womb, my son's heart stopped twice, but he's still here!!
I've been in a roll over accident where my daughter wasn't in the vehicle when it stopped, but we're still here!!
I ONCE WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I SEE.!!
Yes, I Trust My Faith!!!
