Trapped in a white room.
Solitary Confinement
by Hailey Wright
Bright. The brightness reflects upon their glassy eyes. So bright it could burn. The smell of nothingness became everything at once, though it is only nothing. As they go crazy not knowing where, when, and why. It might possibly make them pull out hair. Trapped, they know that it is forever but part of them convinces themselves that it is but a harmless joke. A joke that goes on forever. The surrounding walls and floors all in the same pattern, same size. No doors to escape. No extroverted witnesses. For it looks like pillows that are hard and soft at the same time. To look around the room but feel the reflection as a mirror would. An endless square of space between four walls that make this room so important for punishment.
