Love is the Storm

     Love is not courageous

Courage accommodates choice

Do I fight or do I flee


 
     Love is not noble

Nobility favors title

Am I king or prince or peasant

 
        I am the seawall that holds back the surf

        I am the mountain defending your turf
 
        Mountains have no choice
 
        Seawalls are not kings


Love is the sword I fall on

Love is the hill on which I die

Love is the storm

And the storm am I
