Oh, you are sure, are you? Are you positively sure?

Have you thought this through? Do you need to think some more?

Considered ev'ry thought, maybe just one more check an' look,

'Member once the kitchen's closed, can't change how food's cooked.

Oh, you are sure, are you? he'll never change your mind?

How can you be so sure? What happens if you find?

A new dress in a Cole's store, cheaper than this one

T'is it better goin' round dressed up like a Nun.

Oh, you are sure, are you, it's not to late to change,

It was fun an' easy, when ridin' on the range.

And here there's no rustler's, or bad guy's with a gun,

Lots of cattle grazin', an' days of summer's sun.

Oh, you are sure, are you, maybe you need to think

Don't be too impulsive, take time an' sip one more drink

Take time to sit an ponder, can't alter what has past

Ain't 'nuff time to think 'bout, time's runnin' out so fast

Oh, you are sure, are you, it's today, can't delay.

Today's the day, our big pay, time's really slippin' away.

Cheerin' on our women, the best things in our lives

Our mother's, our sister's, our daughter's and our wives

Oh, you are sure, are you, do you think that is wise

To glance back on days gone by, through another's eyes

Will we find truth, peace of mind, will confusion reign

Will it bring on new freedom, or free our troubled brain
