French Kiss

by Terry Reilly

Facing your beauty, I'm in thrall.

Reading your eyes, which promise all.

Esculent lips, which slightly part,

Nirvana waits, be still my heart.

Caress your cheek with whispered kiss,

Harbinger of ensuing bliss.

Keeping so stiff, my tongue intrudes

Inside your mouth, my love exudes.

Salaciously exploring your

Sweet cavity, soft moist velour.

Poetry and love have been synonymous since poetry was first invented. Your acrostic poem should relate to this subject. An acrostic is a poem which spells out a word or idea. Sometimes what it spells out is the the title of the poem itself. Usually the first letter of each line spells out this key word.

Esculent = good enough to eat.
