A time of remembrance

Waiting For Eternity

When you went away

All I could think of is

I can’t go on without you

Thankful to the Lord

I did go on

Needing you more than ever

Give me strength, Lord!

Forget you? I might as well forget

Oxygen for my breath

Respiration, still ongoing

Even as I count the long lonely years

Till the time we should reunite

Existing without you

Reaching out, but not finding

Needed comfort

In your presence

To the Lord, I’ll give thanks

You and I will soon know one another
