Old Flame?

Charlie grabbed his bag at the carousel.
Scrolling, he found Sonja’s picture. Chestnut eyes, now framed by greying brown locks.
‘Hola Thomas,’ she whispered hesitatingly.
‘Hola,’ he replied. Vague memories of learning Spanish together two decades earlier resurfaced.
Alas, not even the warm Spanish sun could reignite an old flame.
