This poem is about belonging to God

Holy Linoleum

by William Knight

What do you want?
I want you to have it.
But you've gotta ask!
My hats full of rabbits...
It's just I've got a complex-
You know how that is...
But mine is just much bigger. Ha!

Can you honor this?
Humility goes a long way
In terms of recognizance!
My trophy wife is a pretty sight-
Her eyes are giant,
And it keeps me up at night,
So I meddle...

Only cus I care!
This is no competition,
At least not one for me.
It's all love, yes.
But I too bear disease.
I'm your father, your creator-
You're mine to yank around.
Capeesh?

Do you get anxious? I do too...
Thanks to my fights with you!
Ever felt like life's a paradox?
A Russian doll- in a Russian hall-
On Russian building blocks?
You're welcome.

You'll Never say I didn't keep you;
Right here, close...
Where I need you.
