When least expected the crying comes as a feeling of dread,
Overwhelming thoughts of being without her in his life.
Her presence had become the inspiration for new desires,
A chance to feel what could be possible again.
But now he knows the time has come,
That a new direction must be taken;
As his road is short and hers is long,
But, he won't forget the feelings found.
And the tears will be a rejoicing of the time that was,
The chance to experience love again.
