Another Fine Mess

The  Swiffer pads won't cut it.

Blood sometimes can get thick.

I didn't mean to kill him.

But, geez., I threw the brick.

Who knew I would have such good aim?

It seemed a cowboy 's trick.

No geriatric aim's so true.

I can't often hit a lick.

So, he bled like he was trying to paint,

The entire kitchen floor.

He is still giving pain to me,

Leaving me with gore.

I have used up all the towels,

But there must be some more.

As usual  he gives me problems,

But who's keeping score.

*****************************

I found the linen cabinet.

I am saved at last.

It's all cleaned up and sparkling.

 Blood is in the past.

Everything is put up.

His "die" has now been cast.

When the need is very great,

I can and do move fast.
