I was working at a Courtyard by Marriott in Paducah, KY, in 2021 when the storm hit. I distinctly remember looking outside and seeing the heavy rain. We lost power at one point, and the roof began to leak at another. Yet, we were not struck by any tornado; however, Mayfield, KY, where I knew many people and which sits just beside Paducah, was violently struck by the storm.
