Lullaby My Baby

by Gypsy Blue Rose

Lullaby my baby,

lullaby my girl

lullaby little piece

of my heart and soul.

.

My beautiful baby,

won’t you go to sleep?

I’ll chase away the shadows

and you’ll be safe with me.

.

Mischievous fairies

be gone at once!

Let my baby play

with her little feet.

.

We’ll sit on the rocking chair

I’ll cuddle you in my arms,

singing lullabies

and stroking your little back.

.

I'll ask the moon and stars

to push away the dark

and the scary shadows

so we can sleep at last.

.
