A request for a dear friend and anyone else in need, including those struggling with illness, the Hurricane or other life forces out of their control. It takes but a moment to think of them and offer support and understanding.
I believe deeply in the healing power of prayer. I've witnessed the miracles that can happen when we lay our burdens at the Lord's feet and ask Him to touch the lives of others with His love and mercy.
Today, I come to you with an open heart, asking in the spirit of love and compassion for our neighbors and friends that you take a moment to lift up prayers for all those who are suffering silently.
I know the power of a prayer chain, and I ask each of you to please join me in asking the Lord, in His infinite wisdom, to ease their pain and lift the burden weighing so heavily on their hearts. And for those with other beliefs, I welcome your kind thoughts, notes, or poems to let people know that they are not alone and that we care and stand with them in this moment of need.
Please join me as I pray:
Our Father Who Art in Heaven, I come to You in an hour of great need. I know that only You have the power to grant our friends the strength, courage, and hope they need to face the challenges ahead. Please touch them with Your healing grace and loving presence. May they feel Your comfort surrounding them, so they know they are never alone, even in the darkest times. Amen.
I believe in the healing power of faith and prayer, and I ask you to join me as we ask the Lord to touch the lives of our friends. I pray he will surround them with peace and strength and give them faith to believe that all things are possible with the Lord. May he remove the darkness and lead them down a calmer path.
I express my gratitude to each of you for your prayers and kindness and I hope that your days are filled with sunshine and joy. I know I have been truly blessed by the friendship I found on FanStory, and because of that, I have faith that we can join together and help each other.
