A true account of my calling at the age of 16

My calling to the ministry

by Charles D Ezell

In the night, I had a fright

A voice, then a vision came

God was speaking, and I heard

From that moment, I was never the same.

 I answered to the voice

and climbed out of bed

I was awake but thought I was dead.

I am here Lord, I said in a fearful way

God said, I am calling you to be a witness

For those who will face judgment day.

Fear not, an Angel said,

He lives who was thought to be dead.

Share His love and the signs will be

For those who desire to be free.

I awaken from the vision with a love deep within

And for the next forty-five years there was never an end

My Faith Poetry contest entry

God called me into the miracle ministry as a boy but I never surrendered until I was 33. My wife and I carried God's word for forty-five years, seen God do many miracles and save many from the fire of hell. At the age of 86, I still witness for the Lord and will until my time to go home. Always remember this. The breath you inhale and exhale
comes from your creator, He allows you another day so get to know the one who made you. His name is Jesus.
