My Faith is Like...

My faith is like a flower

I strive to make it bloom

And when it does the scent's so strong

It permeates the room

My faith is like the child

Who wants to learn what's right

And as it grows, faith's seeds it sows

and feeds its appetite

My faith's an open window

That let's the Lord shine in

And when the Lord shines in my heart

I know I'm free from sin

My faith is like a scrapbook

With many mem'ries there

And when I close my eyes at night

The book becomes a prayer

My Faith is like a place unknown

Where I must find my way

But when I put my faith in Him

He guides me every day
