Vampire Tanka writing prompt entry

Writing Prompt The poem must contain the word vampire. The poem format is a Tanka. It is made up of five lines with the syllable count of 5-7-5-7-7. This is a weekly contest sponsored by "The Little Workshop of Horrors" club. Every Friday we will post a new contest. Vamp is used in its three meanings of a repeated musical chord; an attractive, flirtatious woman; a blood sucking mythical creature.
