Weeping Willow

by magic dragon

Weeping Willow

did outgrow its roots,

time has passed,

years have taken its toll,

the tree did not outlast.

Changing weather;

heat has exhausted,

winter had no comfort,

springs arrival-replenished,

autumn changes-renewed.

There is no tomorrow

under moon glow,

leaves withered, branches bend.

Soon it will fade away,

maybe; just another day.

Birds sing for the last time

in their willow home.

Nature has spoken,

it's beauty will grace

the land no more.
