A Humble Man Came to Town

a Humble Man came to town
with love for the host
desiring to save the lost
and give them a crown

He chose the poor and lonely
freeing the hopelessly distressed
healing the sick and oppressed
teaching them to love so dearly

the lame walked, blind eyes saw
demons were ejected
and many thousands fed
a true Teacher of the Law

evil men arrested Him, tried Him falsely
lies were spread, and shouts
of blasphemy rang out
alone, He stood quietly

Crucify Him! - Crucify Him!

the Humble Man was brutally executed
while His friends ran away
the women never swayed
in an upper room, they fearfully gathered

suddenly, the cries ring clear
I've seen Him who we held dear

He has risen!
