Cube poem about time-tested friendships

Ad Infinitum

by Rachelle Allen

A friendship true
is G-d's best gift.
It elevates,
Gives us a lift.

It shows itself
in words and deeds,
No rivalries,
No unmet needs.

Its bonds are strong
with love they're made.
They keep us close
and unafraid.

They make us laugh
and let us cry,
without the need
to wonder why.

A friendship true
will last and last.
We share today,
we share our past.

Through all our years
We grew to know
The benefit
of love we show.

We're stronger now
because we see:
alone is not
for you or me.

Strength in numbers;
with us, that's two.
You're here for me,
I'm here for you.

With love and appreciation of Robert Zimmerman, who is on FS again, and has spent his first week back teaching me the Cube Poem form. (Four lines, with four syllables per line equals one stanza. Four stanzas make one Cube.)

Thanks, Sweet Robert. Hope I've done you proud.
