Hannah's Happy Fall Day

by Boogienights

Hannah looked out of her window,
as the tree leaves gently spread.
Many lovely fall colors,
yellow, orange, gold, and red.

Hannah's dad was outside raking, made a pile ten feet high!
Mama, Daddy, Hannah jumped in,
leaves went flying to the sky!

Later they made pumpkin cookies,
with silly faces, oh what fun!
Out of the oven, far too hot,
when cooled though, they ate every one!

Pumpkins on the porch were waiting,
they'd have funny faces too.
Mom and Dad would do the carving,
 eyes, mouths, noses, Hannah drew.

Later on, they made some popcorn,
caramel apples on a stick.
Watched a not-so-scary movie,
for Hannah, bedtime came too quick!

Hannah slept and did some dreaming,
of her number block costume.
Tricks and treats and all the candy,
Halloween can't come too soon!
