Lightning and thunder coalesce,

storm unleashes ferocious winds,

glowing moon a hidden secret,
is obscured on this dreary night.

Night stars above are not aglow,

Lightning and thunder coalesce,

winds flow controls the ocean tides,

waves rise high, towards shore they roll.

Destructive forces are at play,

howling throughout this winter night,

lightning and thunder coalesce,

nature gives a tremendous show.

Relentless rain pounding roof tops,

streets flood, there is nowhere to go,

home fires are burning bright tonight,

lightning and thunder coalesce.
