A Twisted Loop Poem About Prose

by jim vecchio

Writing -It’s as easy as a-b-c

See with your fingers, type in your mind

Mined with explosive images of the past

Passed through your typing to this world

Whirled along with future scenes

Seein’s believin’ when it comes to prose

Pros and amateurs on the same field

Field their inner words to shape something they knew

New Scenes of reality or dialogue spoke

-Spoke to writing’s wheel, reaching to all who hear

“Here are my words, take them, my dear,”

Deer seeking more freedom, gladness of heart

Hart prancing through woods to refreshing stream

“Stream my words to all! Let’s drink a round”

Around to all who accept

Except those who are without soul

Sole creatures, never to be made whole

The Twisted Loop Poem contest entry

With a TWISTED Loop poem, the second line begins with a HOMONYM - a word that sounds the same, but is spelled differently and has a different meaning - of the last word in the preceding line.
I am not sure some words will qualify for this post, so I will leave it to the judges.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
