What is love? What does it mean
Love is sharing our body and soul
Our thoughts and memories
Without fear or favour

 

Like a new day dawning it evolves
Raw and rough but sweet and beneficial
Hand in hand on a beach at dusk
An experience, a journey the end unknown

 

Expressed and shown in many different ways
Kisses and cuddles, a night of passion, Olay!
Candlelight dinners in a small café
Conversations whilst holding hands.

 

Love is an experience, expressed in many ways.
The giving of time with life’s many chores
Caring of the sick, the injured and poor
A gift of flowers an endearment card

 

Be not afraid to give your love unconditionally.
Say what you mean and do what you say.
With touch and speech give your love freely
Don’t hold back seeking love through fear.

 

Results of love evolves in every new day.
Smiling faces as we go on our way.
Children are the results of love.
And we cherish their miracle every day.

 

Love should not be about who has what.
Every day things come and go.
But love lingers if seeded right.
Just needs a lot of things to go right.
