A boy and his cat

Roonie and Baggins

Roonie and Baggins
 
Roonie and Baggins went for a walk
No one knew that Baggins could talk.
 
It all happened and quite bizarre,
Roonie wished upon a very bright star.
"Oh star, Baggins is truly my very best friend.
We are true buddies, each other depend."
 
The very next morning instead of "meow"
Baggins came running and asked for some chow.
We smiled and laughed and danced all around.
 
With a leash upon Baggins, we went into town.
We stopped at the bakery and then for ice cream.
When Baggins asked for vanilla, the woman did scream!
 
We ran out quickly and headed back to the house.
Baggins is so kind he said "hello" to a mouse.
 
We will grow up together, never to roam
because Roonie and Baggins together spell home.
