The Dance Inside

by Jodi Ann Anderson

Step inside and capture it,
It is there to mesmerize,
Mesmerize with pleasing sounds,
Sounds of music closes eyes.

Eyes see better when they're shut,
Shut the world out and just be,
Be yourself, immersing in,
In the drumbeats dancing free.

Free and loose our bodies move,
Move around, in this we thrive,
Thrive within our craving skin,
Skin just covers, beats alive.

Alive we feel, but room's a blur,
Blur, like smoke, no one's around,
Around they are invisibly,
Invisibly, all lost in sound.

I love to dance, and is easy to get lost in the sound. Sometimes I like to close my eyes and become one with the music. The room becomes a blur, when you remove everything else in the room with your mind.
I would like to give a shout out to Velizar Ivanov for the great photo.
