when the clock says it's mid-afternoon
starboard light out and port out of sight
the sun high as a kite
drunk on the light of the moon

ditch magic stars and make me your wish
on the moon, the new moon

You'll stay up all night, chasing the light
wishin on a missin star
til you realize who's guidin your eyes
up above the world so far

Trippin the switch inside of your mind
as you circle around the lagoon
scuttle your ship and leave it behind
seek and you'll find, leading the blind
by the moon, the new moon

come dancing with me in the dark

wondering who we are
the spark in the sky fillin your eye
watchin your every move from afar

luminal lies fillin your eyes

Fuel the fire with evening rising
oceans full of lunatics
hearts unfold Iike flowers before me
in the dark I rise anew

tidal sirens call your name
Noah's fountain burst to slay us,
bid the sea give up its claim
