A poem I wrote for new years day

New years

To all you people young and old
Send your love to every heart you hold
The year is over and is starting new
And it's time to remember what you hold true
Last year's struggle, problems, and nights
Last year's success, dreams and light
All come to an end on this day
Waiting to start again the new year's way
