Veni, vidi, vici - Was not to be...

6 Word Poetry contest entry

Julius Caesar used the phrase ( Veni-I came, Vidi - I saw, Vici - I conquered) supposedly in a letter to the Roman Senate after he had achieved a quick victory at the Battle of Zela. I had no such luck on the Champs-Élysées in Gay Paree, as I went - saw- and was rejected. You can see her walking off.
